In 1998 Victoria was named Assistant News Director/Reporter for the Myrtle Beach bureau and in 1999 became News Director.
PAWLEYS ISLAND -- Georgetown County sheriff's deputies responded to Waccamaw Middle School on Wildcat Way in Pawleys Island around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday when the school's alarm went off.
Deputies saw that the glass on the front door was broken by what appeared to be gunshots.
The entrance and the perimeter of the school were secured and cleared.
There were no signs entry was made into the building.
Georgetown County School District spokesperson Ray White said the students are safe.
Anyone with information about the vandalism is asked to call 546-5102.
