JEDBURG, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say a body found on an Interstate 26 entrance ramp was a woman whose was kidnapped and her car was taken at gunpoint hours earlier.

Investigators say the woman and a man were carjacked in a North Charleston parking lot just before midnight Friday, and the suspect made the woman get in the car with him.

Authorities say the woman's body was found around 3 a.m. Saturday on exit 194 near Jedburg.

Dorchester County deputies spotted the car at a nightclub in St. George a short time later and arrested Tyler Brown-Kelly. He faces murder, kidnapping and other charges and it wasn't clear if he had a lawyer.

Authorities have not released the woman's name or how she was killed.
