Horry County police arrested six people after a bomb threat was found at Carolina Forest High School Wednesday morning.

Four of the individuals arrested were juvenile students. They were detained and sent to the Department of Juvenile Justice.

Two other students of adult age were taken to J. Reuben Long Detention Center. Charges will be released Thursday.

Horry County Police Sgt. Robert Kegler says the threat was found in the boys bathroom.

The school was evacuated and checked by Horry County Bomb Squad. Once cleared, the students were allowed to re-enter and the investigation was initiated by the School Resource Officer.

Horry County school leaders and Horry County police have met to try to figure out how to stop the rash of threats this year. There have already been more than a dozen threats at Horry County schools in 2012.
