Barn fire spreads to House in Galivants Ferry

Horry County Fire Rescue is on the scene of a Barn fire Tuesday night.

Leslie Yancey, spokeswoman for Horry County Fire Rescue, says firefighters were called to 6519 Gunter's Island Road in Galivants Ferry around 8:43 p.m.

Yancey says when firefighters got to the scene, flames were showing. Yancey says the fire started in a barn and spread to a nearby home.

There is no word on what caused the fire, or if anyone was hurt.
