Bojangles donated hundreds of books to the Teachers of the Year in Florence, Darlington and Williamsburg Counties.
Restaurant officials say they support classroom teachers because they make a great impression on our students.
"We know how hard they work in the classroom. We know they're preparing actually the future leaders for the state of South Carolina and for the United States as well," said Ken Reynolds, Bojangles Field Marketing Manager.
In support of public education in South Carolina and to celebrate District Teachers of the Year across the state, Bojangles has donated nearly 3,000 books to public schools this year.
This is the third consecutive year Bojangles' has partnered with South Carolina Future Minds to support the Teacher of the Year program and improve the lives of the 700,000 children in South Carolina's public education system.
