A Frost Advisory has been issued for most of the area from 3am until 8am Thursday. A Freeze Warning has also been issued from 3am - 8am Thursday for Marlboro County, SC(including Bennettsville, McColl, Society Hill, Clio, Blenheim) and Robeson County, NC(including Lumberton, Fairmont, Pembroke, Rowland).
Temperatures are forecast to drop into the mid/upper 30s for the area under the Frost Advisory and locations within the Freeze Warning area could potentially see temperatures dropping down near freezing. A frost or freeze could be damaging or kill sensative vegetation and crops. Farmers and people with agricultural interests should take necessary precautions. Necessary precautions should also be taken to protect outside plants with a cover to help insulate them and potted plants brought inside. Also make sure you bring your pets inside or have a warm place for them to stay tonight.
