Surfside town council candidates face runoff

In 1998 Victoria was named Assistant News Director/Reporter for the Myrtle Beach bureau and in 1999 became News Director.

There will be a runoff between three candidates vying for a seat on the Surfside Beach Town Council.

Randle Stevens, Bob Childs and Mark Johnson will appear on the ballot on April 17th.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m to 7 p.m.

The municipal election commission certified the election results Thursday.

Mayor-elect Doug Samples and Councilwoman-elect Mary Beth Mabry will be seated May 8th.
