Grand Strand Regional Medical Center will hold a job fair on Saturday, April 21 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the hospital cafeteria.
Department and human resources staff will be available to discuss job descriptions, benefits and the application process.
The hospital has openings for experienced registered nurses in: critical care, telemetry, trauma, medical/surgical, operating room/open heart, recovery room, emergency and cardiac catheterization laboratory.
Additional open positions include: pharmacist, certified nursing assistant, monitor technician, operating room tech/open heart, unit secretary, cardiac catheterization tech, respiratory therapist (PRN) and echo tech (PRN).
Grand Strand Regional Medical Center is a 259 bed facility and has more than 1,300 employees. The hospital is ranked #1 in cardiac surgery in South Carolina for 2012 by HealthGrades and has been offering trauma services equivalent to a Level 2 trauma program since November 2010.
The hospital is awaiting Level 2 verification from the American College of Surgeons and the Department of Health and Environmental Control.
