(AP) -- COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Fourteen people have filed to run for Congress in South Carolina's new 7th District.

Filing for the state Legislature and Congress ended at noon Friday. Those running in the June primaries include nine Republicans and five Democrats vying to represent the new district that is anchored in Horry County and extends into the Pee Dee in the state's northeast corner.

All state House and Senate seats are up for re-election this year, as are all U.S. House seats. Only one incumbent congressman faces a primary challenge. Rep. Joe Wilson will again face businessman Phil Black of Barnwell in the 2nd District. Black lost to Wilson in 2008 and 2010.

Neither Wilson nor Rep. Tim Scott faces a Democratic opponent.

South Carolina's only Democrat in Congress, Rep. Jim Clyburn, is unopposed.
