Emergency Medical Technicians from across the state are in Myrtle Beach for the Emergency Care Symposium.
It includes dozens of classes from how to be a good employee to how to handle trauma patients.
Some of the EMT's biked from the other end of the state to get here, in honor of their colleagues killed in the line of duty.
"We're just trying to offer their family some continued support to show that we still honor and respect their loved one that have died," says Crystal Youmans of West Columbia.
The symposium wraps up Saturday evening.
