Atlantic Beach was expected to hold a special called town council meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

A letter from Mayor Pro Tem Carolyn Cole and Councilwoman Windy Price says Mayor Retha Pierce didn't talk with them and she will not have a quorum for the meeting. That means not enough councilmen will be attending for any decisions to be made.

The letter says the items on the meeting agenda do not rise to the level of an emergency in accordance to the state statute. It also says the meeting violates the Freedom of Information Act.

It goes on to say the next scheduled town council meeting is April 2.

We will let you know what happens.
