HORRY COUNTY --
Police arrested Chet Rumbley, 41, of Goose Creek, Friday and charged him with Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor.
On October 13, 2011, the girl told police that Rumbley sexually assaulted her numerous times between the ages of 7 and 13.
The Horry County Sheriff's Office was able to track Rumbley down through the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database.
The child's mother said she didn't learn of the abuse allegations until October 2011.
Police check the database when someone is arrested to see if they face any other crimes.
