GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say a 24-year-old mother of five has been killed after she tried to stop a runaway SUV.

Investigators said Ashley Koon's children were playing in the 1998 Ford Expedition around 6:15 p.m. Friday in Pelzer when it was knocked into gear and began rolling.

Troopers say Koon opened the SUV door and tried to get inside to stop the vehicle, but her foot slipped and she was pinned between the SUV and a mobile home.

The coroner's office and troopers are still investigating the incident.
