ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP) - The Joint Boundary Commission will hear Friday at a meeting in Rock Hill from residents affected by the group's new survey of the state line and may suggest ways to help ease the bureaucratic nightmare those people face.
The state line between the Carolinas had not been surveyed in more than 230 years, and this recent survey using modern methods found several places where the line was off by a few hundred feet.
Authorities say 93 property owners, mostly around Charlotte, N.C., have found themselves in another state.
