Deputies are investigating a third bomb threat in the past six days at the Timmonsville Education Center, which houses all grade levels in Timmonsville.

The call came in just before classes started at 7:55 a.m. Wednesday. There were other bomb threats on Tuesday and last Thursday.

Officers say no bombs or bomb-like devices have been found in any of the incidents, but in each case they have had to evacuate the building to search.

They say that means students are outside for about an hour each time, missing out on valuable instruction time.

The Florence County Sheriff's Office is investigating the threats. We're waiting to learn of any developments in this investigation.
