Scotland County Sheriff Shep Jones says they're investigating a double murder.
Just after 5 p.m. Wednesday, deputies got a call to do a welfare check at a home off of Marston Road in the Laurel Hill community of Scotland County.
Officers say when they went inside the home, they found the bodies of a man and a woman.
Investigators say it's too early to release any other details.
