Crews work to contain Florence County hotel fire

The West Florence Fire Department put out a fire at the Suburban Extended Hotel on West Lucas Street in Florence County Tuesday morning.

When crews arrived around 8 a.m. Tuesday, they found the canopy attached to the front of the hotel on fire, according to Capt. Anthony Fox. The fire was under control by 9:28 a.m.

Three engines and ten firefighters with the West Florence Fire Department responded as well as one engine with the City of Florence Fire Department.

No one was hurt.
