MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) - A North Carolina woman survived a balcony fall Saturday night at the Sea Dunes motel in Myrtle Beach.

Sgt. Dave Cooke with Myrtle Beach police said the 20-year-old woman was trying to go from the balcony of one room to another when she fell three floors and hit the ground face first.

She was taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The woman is expected to recover from her injuries. Cook said she has a cracked pelvis and had been drinking earlier that night.
