Florence County Deputy Coroner Don Reynolds tells NewsChannel 15 two people have been killed in a single car wreck near Timmonsville.

It happened on South Hill Road just 9:45 a.m. Friday morning.

Reynolds says the car was traveling at a high rate of speed, flipped and landed in a field.

He says a man and woman were thrown from the car and died.

Highway Patrol's special accident investigation team is on scene looking into what caused the wreck.

Reynolds will release the victims names after he notifies their relatives.
