CONWAY -- Conway Police charged Melquan Nelson, 19, of Conway for seven burglaries that occurred in the area of Kiskadee Apartments from December of 2011 to March of 2012.
Nelson is charged with five counts of Burglary 1st Degree and two counts of Burglary 2nd Degree.
Nelson was arrested on March 4, when officers were dispatched to a residence on Kiskadee Loop in reference to someone being in the residence.
Officers found Nelson in the parking lot near the home and arrested him. A search of Nelson's residence revealed items taken in earlier burglaries in the Kiskadee area.
Nelson is currently as J Reuben Long Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
