Morning car chase tied to suspicious death of child

(AP) -- SHALLOTTE, NC (WWAY) -- What looked like two separate crimes in Brunswick County now appear to be very closely connected.

Shallotte Police say a car chase that ended with a crash involving sheriff's deputies came on the heels of the suspicious death of a young child.
