UPDATE

Kingstree Police Chief Robert Ford says around 11 a.m. Wednesday, someone called Kingstree Senior High School saying there was a bomb inside the building.

Officers arrived and cleared everyone out of the building.

Chief Ford says they called the State Law Enforcement Division to send SLED's bomb detection dogs.

He says the officers searched the entire building with the dogs and found no such device.

Chief Ford says they were not checking out a suspicious package.

He says students were allowed back inside the school around 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

Chief Ford says right now they're trying to trace the number that was used to call in the bomb threat.

At this time, there are no arrests.
