Florence County Sheriff's Office deputies are investigating a fire that destroyed a mobile home in Florence County Monday night.

The fire started around 7:30 p.m. in a mobile home on Laurel Circle. Someone saw the flames and called 911.

When firefighters arrived, about 60 percent of the home was on fire. Officials say there was little they could do to save it. About 90 percent of the home burned.

Sheriff's deputies are helping firefighters determine what caused the fire.
