Crews battling brush fires in Horry County

HORRY COUNTY -- SC Forestry Commission firefighters continue to battle two separate brush fires in Horry County.

 

An acre brush fire near 4335 Adrian Highway in Horry County is contained at this moment. Crews continue to put that fire down.

Forestry firefighters have also been dispatched to the woods off of 4745 Red Bluff Road in Horry County. Horry County Fire Rescue is at the fire.

SC Forestry Commission firefighter Mike Ney said that brush fire is about three quarters of an acre, and crews have that fire contained as well.
