Two teenagers have been arrested and charged with numerous weapons charges after a Surfside Beach Police Sting.
Police say David Earl Kelly, 18, of Surfside Beach and Bryan James Harris, 17, of Myrtle Beach were charged.
Kelly is charged with unlawful carrying of a pistol, possession of firearm with serial number removed, and possession of an altered or counterfeit driver's license.
Harris is charged with unlawful carrying of a pistol, possession of firearm with serial number removed, possession of firearm by person under age of 18.
Police say officers learned Kelly had possibly been involved in a firearm incident in another jurisdiction.
SBPD officers coordinated with Horry County Police officials, and began their own investigation.
Officers located a vehicle containing Kelly and Harris as passengers.
Police stopped the vehicle, and during the stop saw a handgun underneath the front seat.
Officers seized the weapon which was loaded and ready to fire.
