MYRTLE BEACH -- Monday afternoon, NASCAR Speedpark Myrtle Beach and Pavilion Nostalgia Park will host their 2012 tourist season job fair.
Between the two parks, Parc Management, LLC officials plan to hire more than 100 people for positions from food and retail workers to supervisors.
Those interested in applying at the job fair will be interviewed onsite.
Other area businesses that depend on seasonal work are kicking into gear as well.
House of Blues General Manager Jacquie Tedesco said they're already starting to fill seasonal positions.
She estimates the company will hire between 80 and 90 seasonal workers.
Ripley's Aquarium General Manager Peter MacIntyre said Ripley's will hire between 130 to 160 full and part-time seasonal employees. The company owns four businesses on the Grand Strand.
"All signs point to this season being a good one. Our numbers are up in the winter months and we expect that trend to continue," said MacIntyre.
Even though more business is expected, Ripley's will hire roughly the same amount of seasonal help as it did last year, he said.
"Some employees may increase on their hours. But there is only so many people our properties can staff," said MacIntyre.
