BBQ benefit Tuesday will help people with disabilities

FLORENCE -- The Florence County Disabilities Foundation will hold its annual Celebrity BBQ Benefit Tuesday. Come get some great food for a great cause.

The BBQ will be 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. at Rogers BBQ in Florence, 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. at Schoolhouse Restaurant  in Scranton, and 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Johnsonville, catered by Schoolhouse Bar-B-Que.

Plates are $7 each and can be purchased in advance or at the door. Eat in, take out or drive thru is available. Homemade desserts will be sold for $1 each and celebrity waiters will work for tips.

Some NewsChannel 15 familiar faces, including Allyson Floyd, Tim McGinnis, and Holly Morgan will be there working for tips for the Foundation, which provides services to more than 1,000 individuals with disabilities and special needs.
