Highway Patrol reports two crashes on Highway 17 By-pass near the Highway 544 intersection about a half hour apart Thursday at 3:02 p.m. and 3:35 p.m.
Lance Cpl. Sonny Collins says a trooper was involved in one of those crashes. He did not know if the trooper was hurt.
One of the crashes is reported to have injuries.
The Horry County Sheriff's Office will investigate the crash because a trooper was involved. We're waiting for a return phone call with details on what happened.
