Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee says Milton Tilton Campbell Hunter, 18, of Hartsville died Wednesday afternoon after being shot.

Hartsville police say Hunter was taken to the hospital Wednesday after being shot in the head at a public park in Hartsville.

Residents tell us they heard three to four shots fired at Pride Park on Sixth Street just after 4 p.m.

Police say Hunter was sitting on a park bench with relatives when two men got out of a car, walked through the fence and shot the man.

They have two people in custody for questioning and have found a possible getaway car.

Police continue to investigate.
