A Myrtle Beach man, who failed to pull over for Horry County police over the weekend, was arrested Tuesday night.

Ross Garrett Smith, 23, is charged with Driving Under Suspension and Failure to Stop for Blue Lights and Siren.

On Saturday, Horry County police  tried to pull over the Hummer H2 Smith was driving on Socastee Blvd. around 3:10 a.m. Saturday for expired tags. Smith drove down a dirt road and ran from the SUV.

He was booked at J. Reuben Long Detention Center at 11:08 p.m. Tuesday, according to online records.

Bail has not been set.
