Horry County Police say they tried to pull over a Hummer H2 on Socastee Boulevard about 3:10 a.m. Saturday for expired tags.

Officers recognized the driver as Ross Garrett Smith, 23, who they knew to have a suspended driver's license.

Police say Smith wouldn't stop, pulled down a dirt road, ran out of the car and has not been caught.

He's wanted for Driving Under Suspension and Failure to Stop for Blue Lights and Siren

If you have any information leading to Smith's arrest, you are asked to call the Horry County Police Department's South Precinct at 915-7953.
