A man was killed in Horry County this afternoon after he was shot in the leg. Police are looking for the suspect.
Sgt. Robert Kegler of Horry County police said they were called to J C road off Pint Circle in the Wampee community around 3:45 p.m.
Horry County Deputy Coroner Darris Fowler says the victim is a 33 year-old black man. Fowler says autopsy results should be complete Friday morning. The victim's name has not been released, as Fowler locates next of kin.
Police don't yet have a suspect description and it is now a homicide investigation.
