A family vacationing in Myrtle Beach bought some lottery tickets to scratch in the car and a few were winners.

Instead of driving off, the father and his son went inside the Scotchman #223 at 1272 Dick Pond Rd. to thank the clerk that sold them the tickets. They were grateful for the one worth $100,000. The rest of the winnings totaled $45.

"I was more excited than they were," said the clerk.

The winner's wife was pleased too.

"She wants a new car," the winner said.

As of this release, four top prizes of $100,000 remain in the $5 Triple the Money game.

The odds of winning $100,000 are one in 432,000.

Scotchman #223 in Myrtle Beach received a commission of $1,000 for selling the claimed ticket.
