State Forestry crews fight brush fire in Loris

Firefighters with the South Carolina Forestry Commission contained a brush fire in Loris.

The fire was intentionally set overnight off Daisy Road and was contained at 7 a.m. Wednesday, according to spokesman Scott Hawkins.

The exact cause of the fire is under investigation. Additional details have not been released.
