LATTA -- Public affairs officials with the South Carolina National Guard say Corey Wilson, a recruiter at Latta High School, has been placed on administrative duty.
Last Friday, agents with the State Law Enforcement Division arrested Wilson for sexual battery against a Latta High School student.
Deputies say Wilson had sexual relations with the 16-year-old last May.
Deputies with the Dillon County Sheriff's Office say they initially got involved in the investigation after Latta school district administrators made them aware of the allegations.
Lieutenant Colonel Pete Brooks with the SC National Guard says no military charges are pending against Wilson at this time.
Wilson is out of jail on a $45,000 bond.
Deputies say this investigation is ongoing.
