A Conway man was arrested for attempted murder after police say he cut one person and stabbed another during a birthday party.
Horry County police arrested Ryan McShea Sunday.
They say the group that was celebrating returned to an apartment on Innisbrook Court near Myrtle Beach just before 3 a.m. when McShea got in an argument with one of the victims. They say McShea went through the cabinets until he found a knife and cut one person and started stabbing the other in the stomach. When McShea tried to get out of the apartment, police say he assaulted another person who was trying to keep him from leaving.
Police found McShea on Tibwin Avenue. They took him to the hospital to be checked out and then to J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
McShea also faces assault charges.
