(AP) -- The city of Conway is taking step to crack down on vandals who in the past have ripped up brass plaques and tossed planters into the river from a park and the city's riverfront.
The Sun News of Myrtle Beach reports the city is now installing video cameras in its Riverfront Park and Marina and along the popular Riverwalk along the Waccamaw River.
The cost is expected to be about $173,000.
