A Myrtle Beach restaurant was burglarized Friday morning, according to a Myrtle Beach police report.

Officers responded to Tokyo Hibachi at 400 S. Kings Highway after an alarm went off at 1:30 a.m.

The business was empty, but the back door to the building was open when officers arrived, according to the report. Police conducted a search of the business and found a glass door had been shattered by a brick.

Police later learned that $950 was taken from the office. The restaurant's manager told police the business closed at 9 p.m. and the doors were locked.

The burglary is under investigation.
