Coastal Carolina University's marching band will play at a rally hosted by Stephen Colbert in Charleston Friday.
Former GOP Presidential candidate Hermain Cain will join the comedian and host of Comedy Central's "The Colbert Report" for the event entitled "The Rock Me Like A Herman Cain: South Cain-olina Primary Rally."
With the help of its public relations firm, Falgrene-Mortine, the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce was able to secure the band's spot.
Fifty members of the CCU marching band loaded their equipment on the Visit Myrtle Beach bus for the the trip to Charleston at 9 a.m.
"I was watching the Colbert Report and I really like it and he said he was going down there and I kind of wanted to go. I got to be a part of this," CCU Sophomore Faruq Purpuro said.
The band's role in Colbert's production hasn't been released. Chamber officials said details of the event have been kept very secretive.
Still, band members like Purpuro are expecting a good time. "I think it's going to be absolutely insane and a lot of people are going to turnout and a lot of great fun," he said.
