A Pee Dee Head Start bus and a Mullins school bus collided around 7:15 a.m. Friday morning.

It happened on Old Nichols Highway, just outside of Mullins, according to Mullins Fire Department officials.

When the buses were passing each other, the side mirrors collided, officials said.

NewsChannel 15 was told one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

It's unclear if any students were on board the school bus or if any passengers were on the Pee Dee Head start bus.
