TV ratings high for Myrtle Beach debate

The ratings results are in and they show more than five million people tuned in for Monday's Republican presidential debate in Myrtle Beach.

According to Multichannel news, the debate drew 5.5 million viewers on the Fox News Channel.

The website says about 1.5 million of those were in the 25 to 54 age category.

In TV ratings terms, the debate ranked 7th highest among the 15 debates that have been televised so far.
