(AP) -- South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley says her second State of the State address will focus on jobs.

Haley told reporters Wednesday her speech will contain no surprises. She says she'll talk about cutting state income taxes, as she laid out in her budget proposal for the coming year. She'll discuss topics carried over from last year, such as government restructuring and spending caps.

She'll also push legislators to pass reforms this year to the state's pension system for public employees.

Haley will speak to a joint session of the Legislature at 7 p.m.

Democratic state Rep. Bakari Sellers of Denmark will give his party's response to the speech.

Sellers says he wants to break through Republican rhetoric about cracking down on unemployment benefits and taxes that create division.
