A 49-year-old man was shot during a home invasion at his apartment Monday night, according to a Myrtle Beach police report.

Police responded to the apartment on Pridgen Road around 10 p.m.

The victim told police he was shot after two men, with ski masks on their faces, broke into his apartment and tried to rob him and his roommate, according to the report.

The man was taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Myrtle Beach police are still investigating.
