MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) - Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul received an endorsement Sunday evening from a South Carolina lawmaker.
State Senator Tom Davis from Beaufort County explained to a crowd why he's backing Paul, "Ron Paul's record matches his rhetoric, his fiscal plan matches the fiscal challenges that our nation is facing and his movement represents the taxpayers whose interests have been ignored in the political process for far too long."
Davis says Paul is the best Republican candidate to beat President Barack Obama in November.
Ron Paul will join the other candidates Monday night for a Fox News debate being held in Myrtle Beach Monday night.
