The state's Republican Party Chair, Chad Connelly, said he believes South Carolina's Tea Party and the SC GOP will put their differences aside once the Republican Party picks a nominee.
"They'll get behind whoever wins," said Connelly. "I'm telling you when you talk to them they want to win this race."
Neither the SC GOP or the SC Tea Party has backed a candidate to win the Republican nomination.
During a press conference Sunday afternoon at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, Connelly said the South Carolina Republican party is expecting 2,950 people at Monday's debate at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.
He said preparations for the debate remain on schedule and more than 2,000 ticket requests were turned down.
The Republican Presidential Debate will start at 9 p.m.
