Police officer rushed to MUSC after being shot

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Early Saturday morning Charleston County EMS transported a North Charleston police officer to MUSC.

Shortly before 3 a.m. officers responded to a home on South Allen Drive for a report of a theft.
