COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Columbia police looking for a toddler missing since Thanksgiving have found a shovel and what appear to be bloody clothes and blankets.

Search warrants show police went to 22-year-old Zinah Jennings' home earlier this month after her stepfather told police he saw her in the backyard with a shovel about the time Amir Jennings disappeared.

Investigators found a shovel at the family's home. Police also found what appeared to be blood stains on blankets and clothes in the back of Jennings' car.

Authorities have said the items are being analyzed by state police for DNA.

Last week, Jennings' mother pleaded with the public for information on her missing grandson. Police say Jennings has repeatedly lied to them about her son's whereabouts.
