The Sunshine Washerette in the Newtown community of Dillon was broken into Monday night.

This is the third time in two weeks the business has been burglarized.

Dillon police say the building is made of cement blocks. They say the culprit is pulling out one of the blocks and crawling through it to get inside the laundromat.

They say the the person has to be very small to fit through the cement block.

Officers say once inside the thief breaks the washer machines to steal money inside.

Police say they're causing about $300 to $400 dollars worth of damage to the machines to get less than $100 dollars in coins each time.

Officers say they plan to increase surveillance around Sunshine Washerette in effort to catch the burglar.

If you have any information on this crime, you're asked to call the Dillon Police Department at (843) 774-0051.
