The South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles will close all offices on Wednesday mornings from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. for in-house training January 4.

The agency said in a press release it chose Wednesday mornings to avoid peak activity times in field offices.

Employees will be learning fraudulent document and credential recognition, titling procedures, vision screening and agency policies. Office Managers will conduct the training sessions using materials prepared by the agency's Headquarters Training Department.
