The Myrtle Beach Better Business Bureau is issuing an alert about a scam e-mail that looks like it is from BBB, with the subject line "Complaint from your customers."
The BBB says the e-mail is fraudulent.
They ask that you forward it to phishing@council.bbb.org and then delete it.
If you have already clicked on a link in the e-mail, the BBB suggests running a full virus scan of your computer.
The e-mails have return addresses that BBB does not use and contains a link to a non-BBB web site. Do not click on the link.
The BBB is working with law enforcement to determine its source and stop the fraudulent campaign.
